課堂經歷
In this class, students will begin by reviewing bread-making techniques, including the elements of bread: salt, water, yeast, and flour. They will then discuss how each of these elements work in tandem and ratios to create delicious bread. Then, bakers will create one bread dough per day. While the techniques in this class are more advanced than other Outschool classes, all levels of baking experience are welcome! *Please note that the exact recipes and bread types are subject to change based on seasonality and product availability. This special 4-day bread camp will feature seasonal, summery baked goods and breads! **Please also note that even though we are allotted 2 hours of time, we may not use the full time everyday, based on camper needs. I cater to the pace of my students and work with each of them until their breads are complete!

Monday: Discussion of bread-making techniques, kneading skills, ratios, basic safety tips and techniques & make the first dough!

Wednesday: In the first hour, students will bake. In the second hour, we'll make the final delicious dough.

Dessert Time
Thursday: In the first hour, we will bake. In the second hour, we will make make our decorations and prepare when our dough comes out of the oven!

父母的引導和規範
While baking is fun and results in delicious goodies, it can, of course, be hazardous! Students should have adult supervision, if you as their parent/guardian deem it necessary, and/or should have experience with using oven mitts and basic oven safety.

The complete recipe list will be provided one week prior to camp. Students should have access to basic baking supplies and ingredients, including: -yeast -flour -salt -sugar -honey -basic spices like pepper, basil, oregano, etc. -baking soda -baking powder -fresh rosemary Baking equipment: -Large and small mixing bowls -parchment paper -sheet pans -seran wrap and/or kitchen towels -clear counter space -cutting board -oven & oven mitts -sauce pans
