可愛雄偉的馬畫和水彩畫

In this one time class, students will be learning to draw an adorable majestic horse and use watercolor techniques to paint it. We will break down the subject into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Watercolor painting techniques will cover wet on dry, dry brush, wet on wet, lifting color for mistakes and effects, washes and layers as needed for the project.

Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I will offer a sharing event at the end of the class and/or I will encourage students to upload their finished work to the classroom after it dries to share with me and their art friends.

Note to parents: Watercolor paper and better quality watercolor paints will make a world of difference for learner's success.
