This course will allow students to learn military tactics and put them into practice by taking control of their very own virtual military force. Students will be given a historic military, general, and choice of weapons to build their fighting force. After developing a military, students will learn about military tactics, and then engage in virtual battles with other student-built military forces. In order to come out victorious, students will need to employ military tactics that have been used throughout history. In Week 1 of class, students will develop their historic military forces, with the help of the course instructor. Between class meetings, students will want to spend some time drafting several military strategies that can be utilized in various circumstances. In Week 2 of class, students will go head to head with other learners militaries in a tournament style competition to see which learner led military comes out on top!
