Hello and welcome! In this self-paced (NO LIVE MEETINGS) class, we will learn and practice basic addition and subtraction strategies through hands on activities! This class is great for learners who have an understanding of counting and number sense and are ready for the next step of adding and subtracting. This class could also be used as a refresher for learners who already have experience with addition and subtraction and would like some practice to solidify their math skills. This class contains 2 Lessons: *Addition with Counting On *Addition and Subtraction With a Number Line Each of these lessons is broken down into 2 pre-recorded videos. The first one teaches the concept through demonstration and allows for guided practice. The second one provides more practice activities and an opportunity to put our skills to use in context using story problems. -The level of this class is close to an end of Kindergarten level or beginning of First Grade level.

To be successful in this class, learners should be able to recognize, count, and write most numbers up to 100.

Learners will need 15 small objects to count and a small container to put them in. A printable number line will be provided to use during the video. Printable practices pages will be used to reinforce what we learn in the videos.
