課堂經歷
In this one time acting class, students get to be an actor for a day. We'll do a few theater games, before diving into performing. Students will act out a holiday commercial and then they will act out a short scene with the instructor. The teacher will screen share on Zoom to help the student read the material before they stand up and perform it. Our Commercial: Students will use the magic of acting to show excitement when performing a short commercial. Our Scene: In the scene we'll be performing, the two fairy and an elf come face to face and share the challenges of their jobs. The teacher will play the opposite character and students are encouraged to use props that they already have at home for the scene. This is a one time class that is taught 1 to 1. Adaptable based on students learning needs. The teacher has used theater to help readers with Dyslexia and ADHD.
父母的引導和規範
This is a non religious course, but Santa Claus is mentioned in the scene that we act out. Students do not need to be familiar with Santa, Elves, Tooth Fairies or hold strong beliefs in any of the characters in order to enjoy acting out the scene.
