At the end of this class, students should be able to: warm up their mind, body, and voice, choose and perform monologues that showcase their talents, develop a character, and utilize a GOTE sheet. Through lecture, class discussion and activities, they will have developed a basic understanding of acting, whether that be for a monologue, scene work, or full length play.

Because this is a short term class, there will be formal homework assignments. The assignments are imperative to the students' learning and will be used in the following lesson each day. All homework assignments will be due the day before our next meeting by 9:00 PM Central Time to ensure material is appropriate. This should be submitted through the Outschool Messaging System.
