The first session of ACT English Unwrapped, which will last for two hours, will consist of test-taking strategies and mini-lessons on the most commonly occurring concepts seen on the English section of the ACT. Between the first and second sessions, students will take a practice test on their own time (about 45 minutes). The second session will last two hours and will consist of going through the practice test and discussing answers and concepts. Both sessions of the workshop will include active learning, not just listening to information lecture-style. (Students will not be put on the spot or required to answer questions individually in front of the class.)
