This is a self-paced course designed to help students prepare for the math section of the ACT and/or SAT. The course includes 7 lessons, each featuring a detailed video review on how to solve the various types of math problems seen on the exams. Lessons include a review of Basic Arithmetic, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Probability & Statistics. During the lessons, we will also cover test-taking strategies to help students work more efficiently through each problem, easing the pressure of time. Each lesson will be followed by a timed mini practice test to allow students to apply the problem-solving techniques covered in the lessons All questions are created by the teacher and adapted from real ACT and SAT math content. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE IS SELF-PACED AND THERE ARE NO LIVE MEETINGS. While this course does not have any live meetings, students will be able to access me through the Outschool messaging system with any further questions for up to a year after beginning the course.

Introduction to the Math Section of the ACT and SAT and Basic Arithemetic
This lesson will cover general information about the math section of the ACT and SAT as well as tips on how to approach the multiple choice questions. We will also review Basic Arithmetic, which includes sequences, greatest common factor, least common multiple, fractions and proportions, and percents. 40 分鐘的影片課程

Algebraic Expressions and Equations
This lesson will cover finding equivalent expressions, solving for missing variables, writing and using equations from word problems, solving systems of equations, solving inequalities, and factoring. 43 分鐘的影片課程

Basic Geometry
