Hello, All learners are welcome! I encourage ESL, neurodiverse, and any other learners who think they may benefit from my programs to try them out! There are five (5) topics covered during the group meetings. 1. phonological awareness (sounds) 2. phonics (symbols) 3. vocabulary (words) 4. fluency (voice) 5. comprehension (understanding) They are covered in various fun and interactive ways using books, games and songs. This class is for anyone who knows the letter names and the most common sounds they make and is working on concepts such as long vowel sounds, blends, digraphs and syllable types. I will also provide parents with weekly feedback on the learner's progress. I’m Mr. John.
I am a teacher who has worked professionally for 10+ years. With experience from Kindergarten up to Grade 8 in the classroom and online, I am also a Kindergarten Specialist with additional qualifications in Special Education, Music, and Mathematics!
I teach a Kindergarten Sing-Along Circle Time, a Minecraft Coding & Creative Class, and a Minecraft Survival class for groups. I also tutor Accelerated English Programs for Early Literacy, Accelerated Mathematics Programs for Elementary and Secondary School Learners, Coding, Minecraft Education, GarageBand and more for 1-1 meetings.
My love of learning in my own life drives my passion for teaching. All learners are welcome! I encourage ESL, neurodiverse, and any other learners who think they may benefit from my programs to try them out!
With a room full of instruments, you’ll likely experience fun performances throughout our classes that can help keep things exciting and unique. I usually spend time in nature and with my family when I’m not teaching or jamming! Let’s learn together on Outschool!
