Are you looking to strengthen your academic writing abilities, whether it’s crafting compelling arguments, mastering persuasive techniques, or perfecting research-based writing? 

This class is a one-time or on-going, private tutoring session.

For developing strong academic skills: 

What We Cover:

👉  Logical Structure: Students learn how to construct essays that flow logically, ensuring each argument builds upon the last, leading to a cohesive and compelling conclusion.

👉  Critical Thinking: Through various writing assignments, we encourage students to develop critical thinking skills that allow them to analyze and critique arguments effectively, providing them with the ability to engage deeply with the material.

👉  Comprehensive viewpoints: We explore how to develop comprehensive arguments that address essay topics thoroughly. This involves considering multiple viewpoints, providing balanced evaluations, and incorporating evidence effectively.

👉  Persuasive Techniques: Students are taught persuasive writing techniques to help them influence their readers with well-supported arguments. 

👉 Meeting Academic Standards: The course ensures that students learn how to meet high academic standards in their writing, equipping them with the skills to appeal to diverse readers and succeed in various academic settings.


Depending on your specific needs, we can also work on:

👉	Break Through Writer’s Block: We’ll brainstorm together to clarify key elements and create an outline to get you started with confidence.

👉	Receive Tailored Feedback: Get specific suggestions on how to improve your writing and learn how to integrate these changes effectively.

👉	Master Writing Techniques: We’ll focus on sentence structure, word choice, clarity, coherence, organization, and more to refine your writing.

Depending on the complexity of your writing, we might need more than one session to really nail your paper. 




🕗How It Works:

To make the most of our session, please provide the following information at least 48 hours before our class. I will review the information to ensure we use our time most effectively.

•	Grade level

•	Subjects/titles you are working on (If I can't help with your specific paper or area, I'll let you know right away.)

•	The purpose of your writing (homework, lab reports, research papers, essays)

•	Your current writing sample*

 *Don’t worry if you’re feeling stuck and haven’t started– that's totally okay! We'll figure it out together. I will prepare the material based on your writing prompt and offer step-by-step guidance so you can start with confidence.
