This class is very similar to my class, "Academic Tutoring and Executive Functioning Support for Students With ADHD," but in an effort to embrace the needs of younger learners with short attention spans, it meets for a shorter length of time. In this class, I will work one-on-one with students to help them feel competent and confident of their ability to master their homework! We will work on several skills. I have been a teacher for fourteen years. During that time, the majority of my experience has been working in special education with students with a variety of special needs, including ADHD. I also have ADHD, and I know what works for me. I'm good at watching what works for my students, collecting strategies, and helping people try things until they find the strategy that is the right fit for them.

Some learners may require a calendar or schedule, but please wait to purchase this until I've met with your learner a few times. Children with ADHD frequently need very particular things from their schedules, and what, exactly they need often varies from student to student. I can't make a valid recommendation until I have met your child.
