In this pre-recorded, magical, interactive, and fun class students will become detectives at The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International and study mind reading with Mini Cherry Kat. Mini Cherry Kat uses the principles of binary code to guess which out of 63 cupcakes on the menu in his bakery another cat detective has chosen. Learn how Mini Cherry Kat performs this incredible trick. Develop your storytelling and performance skills with some pro tips in the class. Go behind the scenes and learn the principles of why the trick works. Download Mini Cherry Kat's cupcake menus, follow the instructions in the video and amaze your friends and family by performing the trick at home. Learners who are able to add single and double digit numbers in their head will be able to perform this trick within 20-40 minutes, perfecting it will take practice. Learners with a curiosity for numbers will then gain an understanding of binary code, and understand why this trick works within another 20-40 minutes.

Learners will need to be able to add numbers under 40. This class will improve the speed of mental math.

I trained at a top drama school in London and create devised theatre and inclusive dance performances. I have been a teacher in schools and further education for the last 16 years. I specialize in teaching drama, English, maths, enterprise, and working with students with learning disabilities. In December 2020 I left my full-time job teaching maths, drama, and citizenship in a secondary school for autistic learners to work full time at The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International.
I am passionate about inclusion and mastery. I am skilled at teaching complex concepts using simple visual methods. I use my acting training to retell magical stories with fun, maths puzzles, and games woven in with top tips for individual students on how to develop their maths and communication skills.
I set up The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International as lockdown began inspired by my son's love of mysteries, maths, and cats and I love it so much I never take my whiskers off.
