This is a fun, interactive class where I encourage as much participation as possible. My farm will be the backdrop to show your child how my day is spent on the farm. From baby chickens, gathering egg, grumpy goats to how we keep all of our animals safe and happy. I hope they are filled with questions and ideas about what they would want on their farms! I hope to encourage children to love animals and the outdoors as much as I do. Bring your favorite animal to share with us! Class #1 Shhh they are sleeping and do not like woke up! Some of my animals are not fans of being woke up and are very vocal about it. Class #2 Why are they so dirty? Can you guess what animal makes the biggest mess? Class #3 What are we going to eat today and what we shouldn't be eating! Class #4 We have a lot of energy, running around the farm is our favorite! Along with the videos and group chats, your learners will be able to participate in games such as: Show us your creativity! Draw a picture of your favorite animal. What pet would you have if you could? If you owned a farm, what four animals would you have? We will also be sharing what animals you have at home with fun activities like: I have something pink? What is something you have? I have something that growls!! Do you? We can share our very own favorites with each other. Hello, my name is Angela. I teach classes to all ages and abilities.
I love teaching in a low pressure, fun atmosphere. I believe the most rewarding aspect of learning is the gained ability to connect with others.
I have a BA in Child and Family Service, I am a certified librarian, with TESOL and TEFOL certifications, 25 years of teaching experience with varied ages and abilities. My specialty is helping children with anger/anxiety issues, along with neurodivergent students who may need a little extra support.
My passion is helping others fulfill their learning goals. I am a lifelong learner and love to pass that passion along to my students. My days begin with teaching children of all abilities. When I am not working, I am usually on my farm playing with my pigs, ducks and chickens. I can't forget my two dogs too!
As a mom of two, I know the importance of individualized lessons. Every child is different and it is my goal to teach how they learn. They need to leave my class feeling like they can add a new skill to their lives. Teaching is one more way to build confidence in my students and I love every moment of it.
