Who is this class for?
~5th graders getting ready for 6th grade

How will students learn the vocabulary words?
~Identify the vocabulary word of the day via decoding activity
~Practice looking for context clues to help identify the meaning of the words
~Watch a video on pronunciation, definition, and examples of words
~Find the correct spelling of the vocabulary word activity
~Students select the sentences with the correct usage of the word
~Create and type up your own vocabulary sentences (real-world application)
~Review all vocabulary words with a word search, fill in the blank (Mad Libs style), hear the definition, and choose the correct vocabulary word escape room!

I have a cranky grey Tabby cat named Potter, a codependent Rat Terrier named Pippen, a distinguished orange Tabby cat named Salinger, a sweet Cockatiel named Poppy (who loves to give kisses and say "baby bird" & "peek-a-boo!"), and two precocious children (ages 14 and 17).
