五年級數學表達式第 8 單元測量與幾何

This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught through Math Expressions, Grade 5, Unit 8. This class does not use problems from the textbook, and does not teach the concepts using the same methodologies as the textbook. Learners are able to bring problems from their textbook for help and clarification, but they must already have the materials as materials and/or access to the Math Expressions curriculum will not be provided in this class. Instead, this class follows the same sequence of concepts as the textbook in order to supplement learning. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course. 

Week 1: Converting Metric Units of Measurement (Big Idea #1)
Week 2: Converting Customary Units of Measurement (Big Idea #1)
Week 3: Line Plots (Big Idea #1)
Week 4: Area of Squares and Rectangles (Big Idea #2)
Week 5: Volume of Cubes and Rectangular Prisms (Big Idea #2)
Week 6: Volume of Compound Figures (Big Idea #2)
Week 7: Classifying Quadrilateral, Triangles, and Polygons (Big Idea #3)
