This class format allows me time to get to know students on a personal level, find out what they want to learn, where their strengths and weaknesses are, and encourage personal growth! This class is specific to the needs of the student where an entire curriculum is built just for them, from scratch and by hand, created by me. (I actually have fun doing this part!)


This class is tailored specifically for each student and their own individual needs. The first class is always an assessment period where I get to know them and where they are from an educational standpoint. From there, I will build a curriculum for them and work through the lessons on a weekly basis. 

I make learning fun, as it should be, kids learn best through play, and to be honest, it makes teaching more fun too! Classes will include bingo, MadLibs, creative storytelling, etc. (The new thing is that if kids spell all their spelling words correctly, then they can give me a spelling word! This seems to be the new favorite thing as they all think it's hilarious to watch me struggle through it!) ... I mean, whatever keeps them engaged and having fun, right?? 

The classes are 55 minutes long, which is enough time for the lesson and all students will receive login information for an online homework portal where they can complete game reviews and virtual worksheets. 

There is no weekly detailed list of what we will cover in each class since this will be individualized for each student :)
