In this class, we will learn the techniques needed in order to write expository essays of 5 paragraphs. 

We will talk about strategies on how to write essays in 20 minutes. . . .YES 5 paragraph essays in 20-25 minutes with 5 minutes of planning and outlining.

We will practice by writing essays together, such that is presented in a standardized test. 

It takes practice to learn how to write 5 paragraphs in 20 minutes but with students learning key strategies that we will discuss in this class, such as using transition words, examples, topic sentences, and intro/body/ conclusion. Writing essays will be more fun than ever when your kids understand the best strategies and approached when being timed. 

We will have brainstorming practice rounds, draft an essay together, and than we will have students participate and write an essay timed for homework to be graded with fair feedback and tips on speed writing.
