In this class, we will use what your second grader learned in their math courses in second grade to solidify their knowledge and prepare for third grade. We will meet twice a week to give plenty of time for your child to see lots of examples and ensure they know the content. While this course is split into two units, we will cover concepts such as Money, Time, Measurement, and geometry! This course is delightfully hands on, so get ready to have fun doing some tactile learning. Each lesson will cover review of skills, plenty of practice problems, and thorough instruction to help your child become confident in these skills. See 3rd Grade Math Prep 1 for addition, subtraction and number sense concepts.

Your child will be able to count coins and dollars, tell dime on a digital and analog clock, measure in inches and centimeters, and describe/discern 2D and 3D shapes.
