[3rd of four 9-week sessions] This course takes a modified, thematic approach to 3rd Grade Science. It offers content that is typically taught during the third 9-weeks in a traditional 3rd grade science class. The students will be introduced to the weather, climate and the problem solving portion of the course. They will learn about climate and extreme weather. The students will be able to design solutions to weather-related hazards could include barriers to prevent flooding and wind...
Students will improve their understanding of the world around them. Engaged students will improve their ability to respond to state assessment questions on 3rd grade science content.
I am a 21-year licensed Instructor. I have been privileged to instruct thousands of students. 96% of my engaged students are successful on state assessments. I hold a Science Degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Currently, In addition, I have a Master’s in Instructional Technology pending with a 4.00 GPA. I have taught all science courses from grade Kindergarten to post-graduate courses to include Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, AP Biology, Microbiology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Environmental Science and many others.

The students will have homework after each class. They will be asked recall and open-ended questions where they will have to apply what they learned to correctly answer the question. I ask that the students review what was what they learned every day. Optional: I ask that the students dedicate 10-15 minutes of study time each day.0 - 1 每週課外時間

The students will be assessed as they engage in discussions and as they interact in a question-answer session at the end of class. The students will periodically be given quizzes and/or formative assessments. This will guide my instruction. I will review what the students need.提供的成績
