****We are currently enrolling Anytime of the Year *** Welcome to our full-curriculum math class! In just one semester, you will embark on an exciting journey to discover the fundamentals of 3rd-grade math. This class uses Nearpod which is a presentation tool filled with interactive activities. It also uses IXL as an extra option for additional practice (membership not required for participation in this class). Our program includes: 20 Weekly Math lessons with practice work Each weekly math lesson includes: 1 pre-recorded video lesson 1 -game or Nearpod Lesson for extra practice Also, an ixl unit number will be given for learners using IXL for additional practice. *** Classroom Format ***** Day 1 of the week is focus on learning new material through the instructional video. The remanding Days will be used to practice the lesson material. Practice can be completed using the game, Nearpod, or IXL. **** This is a fast-paced class. Your student should be at grade level to take this class.**** ***Covered Concepts *** Number Sense Addition and Subtraction (multiple digits) Word Problems Multiplication Division Mixed Operations Fractions Geometry Data and Measurement Time Unit assessments are options for learners who require a grade for this course.

Hello! My name is Mrs. JaLes and I am dedicated to proving that learning is effective when kids have the freedom to explore. What do I mean by this? From a early age our kids are learning everything from exploring (touching, engaging, inquiring, investigating, practicing, reassessing, and finally conquering). Then they start school and we add structure and try to make them fit in a box. As a homeschool educator, I challenge my students to live out of the box and achieve greatness by mastering skills based on their learning style and interests. It's truly amazing the facts my kids recall without ever working on memorization and how much improvement in their critical thinking skills I've seen in such a short time.
