Ms. Price is a licensed and certified teacher, with over 15 years teaching experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English, having graduated with honors, and she specializes in teaching writing to learners ages 5-16 years old.
Homework
頻率: 可根據要求提供回饋: 可根據要求提供細節: The true value of this writing camp is the guided writing practice during the live class. Therefore, homework is generally not assigned. However, if parents wish for their learners to have homework, Ms. Price will assign homework that is an extension of what we work on in class. Homework will be reviewed during the next class session.
Many neurodivergent learners find my one-on-one classes to be very supportive! I currently am working with learners with 2E, Gifted & Talented, Autistic, Dyslexic, and ADHD learners. I use a strengths-based approach with all learners.
Something to write with and something to write on! For younger kiddos, writing with markers or colored pencils makes writing more fun! Some older learners prefer to type out their writing rather than writing by hand, and this is totally fine with me!
As this is a one-on-one class, I am pretty open to topics that your learner may choose to write about. However, as a matter of personal preference, I do not allow topics that contain violence or explicit sexual content.
