二年級英語語言藝術，全年，每週 1 次；進行中

In this class student will have a full year of 2nd Grade Common Core English standards.  

Each week students will cover new phonics sounds, read a story, practice comprehension, work on spelling and play a game to reinforce what was learned. 

* also offered 2 x per week. 

Each Class will include:
1. warm- up
2. Today's phonics sounds
3. Pop-out-Chaining
4. Tricky words of the day
5. Story time or writing
6. Take-Home material

Story time stories include:
1- "Mikes bedtime" 
2- “The Milk”
3-“The Jumping Frog” 
4- “The Frog Race”
5- “The Hare and the Hedgehog”
6- “How the Hedgehog Tricked the Hare”
7- “The Pancake”
8- “The Panther”

All stories by "Core Knowledge"

Writing topics:
-Fictional Narratives
-Writing a Draft
-Editing a Draft
-Editing and Writing a Final Copy

* This is an on going class and the topics will not build on the previous week, so you can join the class anytime.  If you need to be absent please let me know by Saturday the previous week, and you will not be charged for that week, or we may be able to accommodate a transfer.

Students will enjoy this class with loving, patient, and fun teacher. Who has many years of experience with children of all ages. 

Classes will be fun and engage the students. We may play games which are quizes to reinforce what is being taught. 

Students will be given weekly assignments (but are optional).
