Students will prevent the summer learning slide through reviewing reading, math, writing, science and social studies activities together in a fun, no-stress class!
I am a certified elementary teacher and have taught science, social studies phonics, reading, writing and math for many years. Before teaching 2nd grade, I tutored students in reading comprehension, decoding words, math and science after school and during the summer. I was also a Title 1 reading intervention specialist for grades kindergarten-3rd grade focusing on reading fluency and comprehension strategies. I have worked in a preschool and pre-k setting as well working on a variety of literacy skills.

Learners will be assigned a few pages of the workbook after the class is finished. The learners should be able to finish these activities within 20-30 minutes and may need some assistance reading the directions.
