課堂經歷
In this fun 28 day practice challenge, young musicians will be assigned a daily practice challenge to complete. Students will learn and review music theory, music history, ear training, note reading, writing skills, composition, and songwriting! Students will learn more about musicians they love and discover new music, play games with their classmates, and improve their musicianship. There will be a daily challenge assigned every day at 12 noon EST that students must complete before 12 noon EST the next day. Students must have an instrument at home to practice (and yes, voice counts as an instrument!) and the following abilities: Vocalists - must be able to sing a major scale (Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do) Guitarists and Ukulele players - must be able to read and play TAB and chord diagrams Pianists - must be able to identify all of the keys on their piano (A B C D E F G ) Some examples of how students and teachers will interact with each other during the 28 Day Challenge are: - Focus questions - Answer music theory, history, and challenge questions - Video recordings - students will post video recordings of themselves performing some of the challenges - Songwriting train - students will work together to write a song by building a "songwriting train". Each student will add a line to the song in response to the previous students'.
