Students will learn the origin of the Chinese Zodiac and how it made its way to Japan. The Chinese zodiac was originally developed as a tool to measure time and direction, but was also well-known for the famous myth of the twelve animals. Students will learn the animals, their characteristics, as well as corresponding Japanese vocabulary. This class also serves as an introduction to Japanese language. The class will be taught with an interactive Kahoot slideshow. Students will be able to test their acquired knowledge along the way. Students will communicate with each other and the teacher in a variety of ways during the class. All students are highly encouraged to use audio and video during lessons. Communication and fun are always key components of any class hosted by this instructor. 😀
