During this 2 day class, we will read Junie B. Jones is a Graduation Girl by Barbara Park. In the first session, we will get to know each other, make story predictions, be introduced to new vocabulary words, and read aloud chapters 1-5. We will also complete a character comparison activity and discuss the adventures and experiences of the character Junie B. Jones. During the second session, we will review the chapters read so far, be introduced to new vocabulary words, and read aloud chapters 6-9. We will wrap up the book group by completing a cut and paste activity to sequence the events of the story.
