In this one-on-one tutoring class, learners will receive a personalized writing lesson in each session. This class covers a variety of writing skills. I do small assessments in each class so I know what a learner needs to learn and practice for upcoming lessons. Some of the skills that we may cover include: - multiparagraph writing - writing in different writing genres (narrative, informative, etc.) - using the writing process - writing strategies - grammar concepts - expanding on ideas In each tutoring session, learners can expect to ... - practice writing concepts - learn writing skills and strategies
