Let's sing! In voice lessons, we will work one-on-one to build confidence in your voice through musical storytelling. You can come with your favorite song in mind, or together we can find a song that suits your talents! What will class look like? We will always begin with a vocal warm up! Then, we will pick a song to start learning. We will work on how to tell a story through music. This can be totally catered to wherever your student is at in their singing journey. Each student comes with a different set up skills and background in singing, and all are welcome here! My goal is that students leave class with more confidence and excitement about singing than at the start of class!

Hello! My name is Hope Kalkman. I am an actress, singer, and performing enthusiast! I teach voice lessons, acting lessons, and audition prep for performances or just for fun! I hope to soon offer a script analysis class where we will do a deep dive into a play, learning how to analyze characters, plot, and design aspects.
I have a BA in Theatre Arts with a focus on performance. I've had the honor of performing professionally. Some of my favorite roles include Betty Haynes in White Christmas, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and originating the role of Anna Peterson in the staged premiere of When Calls the Heart, the Musical.
When it comes to performing, I have a passion for storytelling and diving deep into the characters to find how they tick. The best part of teaching is watching others discover their own passions on and off the stage. I love experimenting in the kitchen, playing volleyball with her husband, and honoring her Creator through the performing arts.評論
