Violin and viola students of any level are welcome to take private lessons. If you already play and have specific repertoire you want to learn, I am happy to do that. I teach beginners through advanced students and am happy to tailor learning to students' interests. **If you don’t see a time listed that works for you, please message. I don’t always have my full availability listed on Outschool.** In my classes, I foster a love of music and connection through violin or viola playing. Proper technique and posture is covered, along with building skills through graded repertoire. Learners MUST have an appropriate size violin or viola to start lessons. If you need guidance on this, please get in touch and I can help you.

Reading about my qualifications alone won't tell you who I am, but it's a good starting point. I have a MMus. in Violin Performance, B.Mus. in Violin Performance, and BA in French. I have been teaching for over 30 years and thankfully still love it!
I currently offer violin, viola, piano, French, and Hebrew classes. My educational philosophy is guided by the main principle of my 25 years as a licensed Kindermusik educator: "Follow the child" - if learners are engaged and having fun, not only will they retain the information but they will want to learn and progress more!評論
