1:1 Foundational Reading sessions are designed with students from all backgrounds in mind! Students will work directly with the teacher to learn letters and sounds, phonics, decoding, spelling, and fluency through direct instruction, ample practice, and gamification. Students will have the opportunity to learn reading in isolation and in context, building both word recognition and comprehension.

These sessions are designed to support students with Dyslexia and other reading-related struggles. Through purposeful intervention, students will build foundational skills needed to be a fluent reader.

I have been an elementary educator for over a decade with certifications in K-6 education, reading, and English as a second language, and certified LETRS training. I currently teach first grade, where we spend a majority of our day working on reading skills through explicit and direct instruction.
