Welcome to Mrs. Mel's Tutoring Services!

I am here to help support your child's learning in an encouraging and supportive environment. I am a certified teacher at the intermediate and senior levels (please see below for specific qualifications).  In these sessions, I will help guide by supporting the student with their homework assignments or if preferred, I will create resources for the student to practice with during our time together. My number one goal is to help your child build confidence in these subject areas that can often cause stress or anxiety.  I will work at the pace and level that is required for your child to meet their learning goals. 

Below are the specific areas in which I can assist your child, however, if you have additional requests not listed below please reach out and ask.
English: Essay and paragraph writing, reading skills, analytical and processing skills for understanding texts
History: All historical topics and additional support in writing historical assignments (creative writing pieces, essays, assignments)

Once you have signed up for a section, please send me a message to indicate specifically what your child will need assistance with so that I can prepare materials for our first session together.
