Welcome to my studio! I am so glad you have decided to take ongoing singing lessons with me as your instructor! I will tailor our ongoing singing lessons by allowing you to practice fun warm-ups that will help strengthen your voice and boost your confidence to sing more. A typical lesson will begin with the following: * a weekly check-in, * fun vocal warm-ups * song repertoire We will pay attention to vocal technique, diction, pitching, intonation, and interpretation, but the most important thing is to make sure you are having fun along this singing journey.

The goal of on-going lessons is to build on and work toward continual improvement with:
* vocal/piano technique
* repertoire
* performance practice
* practice routines
* confidence
More importantly, I want you to enjoy music and have fun!

As an award-winning, internationally acclaimed musician, research scholar, and educator, I have collaborated with world-renowned performers, writers, and scholars.
I have a Ph.D. (Ethnomusicology), M.Mus (Voice Performance), MPhil (Philosophy and religious studies), M.A., and B.A. (English Literature). ATCL and LTCL diplomas (Voice Performance) from Trinity College London. I have more than 30 years of experience as a live and recording artist and I have taught survey courses and applied voice and piano lessons at the studio, conservatory, and university levels for more than two decades.
Fun facts about me: My voice has featured on award-winning Bollywood film soundtracks. And as a polyglot, I can speak and understand French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Tamil, and Hindi.
