These sessions are 1:1 so we can tailor it just for your child and hopefully go at a faster pace than if learning in a group setting. 

During sessions, students learn all consonants, vowel sounds, blends, vowel teams, digraphs, and diphthongs. As sessions progress, students will be able to read longer words and sentences with greater fluency. Students will practice fluency weekly on a speed reading chart. This is a key element in their reading so they can become faster and more confident in reading words in isolation and within sentences. 

Lessons are presented live through an engaging PowerPoint that takes students systematically through the sounds and words to practice weekly. Parents are given access to decodable readers and the speed reading chart that has the sounds readers have learned so they can practice while out of class.  

Each class students will:
-Say their sounds
-Write their letters
-Read words with previously taught sounds
-Learn a new concept
-Practice the new concept
-Learn a new sight word
-Practice a new sight word
