In this private session, take your ideas or current work and turn them into high-quality, impressive writing. Creative writing is a vulnerable craft, and it can be scary to share your writing with others, especially if you doubt its effectiveness. I offer a comfortable and inclusive space where young writers can present their projects and seek meaningful, compassionate, and constructive feedback on how to improve their craft. Examples of what you can expect from these sessions include in-depth proofreading of student story drafts, collaborative brainstorming that can help solidify student ideas and help jumpstart their writing, creating writing plans that introduce accountability and motivation to complete projects, and deep discussions of craft-specific techniques that learners want more time exploring (description, dialogue, worldbuilding, scene construction, etc.). These sessions are ideal for a wide variety of writers, from beginners to advanced and from idea-stage to completed drafts. No matter what point of the writing process you are at, together, we can collaborate to make your story dreams a reality.
