Note: If you don't see a time that works for you, please send me a message. I will do my best to accommodate you. I will use my expertise and knowledge to help your child find success and confidence in reading. With the proven strategies that I used when I taught Kindergarten through 4th grade in person, your child will have the opportunity to experience academic growth and learning gains. In our first class, we will get to know each other and I will assess your student's academic needs. If there are educational goals or specific skills that your child is struggling with, feel free to let me know and I am more than happy to help strengthen those for you! If your child is falling behind in school or needs help with homework, I can help with that too! I've taught testing grade levels, so I can help your child with comprehension and test-taking strategies that they will need to succed on assessments as well. I will create engaging lessons designed to meet the needs & interests of your child. I believe learning can be fun, so that's just what we will do!

I will work with your child on their individual area of need in Reading. We will work on skills supporting the following depending on the are of the need of the learner:
-Phonics (Letter & Letter Sound Recognition)
-Phonemic Awareness (sounds in spoken words)
-Phonological Awareness (sounds in spoken language)
-Decoding
-Sight Words
-Vocabulary
-Comprehension

Learners will need some paper or a notebook as well as a pencil/pen and markers/crayons. (Please bring homework if your child needs homework help) I will provide any worksheets or reading materials that may be needed.
