Let's learn to read and write! This one-on-one instruction is best for new, struggling, and reluctant readers ages 3-7. Together, we will work on letter recognition, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. We will practice handwriting and creating simple sentences. Through games, personalized read-aloud stories and poems, and interactive activities, young students will build and strengthen their reading and writing skills.

My tutoring style is interactive and playful, designed to engage new and reluctant readers. Through fun activities, games, puppets, character voices, and original read-aloud stories and poetry, my goal is to make reading enjoyable and to keep your child motivated.

I bring patience and creativity to each lesson, as well as a personal passion for children's books, shows, and video games. (My in-person students love that I know so much about Bluey, Minecraft, and Octonauts.) Once I get to know your child's interests, I work to connect those interests with our lessons. I always want your child to feel comfortable and confident as they learn.
