1:1 私人英語作為第二語言 (ESL) 輔導

In class, we will focus on a variety of topics suitable for the age and needs of your child. Beginners will work on English fundamentals and more advanced students will focus on further developing their skills. All learners will learn new vocabulary, increase fluency, and improve grammar knowledge. 

The first lesson is an assessment class to get to know your child and gauge his or her English ability. Subsequent lessons will incorporate various learning materials based on the needs of the student. This will  include my own resources and appropriate ESL curricula. 

Lesson topics for beginners include colors, family, animals, seasons, and clothing. A typical class begins with a warm-up to engage the student’s previous knowledge. New vocabulary and phrases are then introduced followed by multiple speaking activities and games to practice new material. Through these exercises students will become familiar with the meaning, pronunciation, and proper usage of new vocabulary in sentences. As the student progresses, phonics, decoding skills, and grammar rules will be taught explicitly and practiced in class. 

Lesson topics for intermediate and advanced students include hobbies, space, culture, health and media. Classes begin with a recap of the previous lesson and an introduction to new vocabulary words and phrases. New material is explored through speaking and reading activities with a focus on grammar, sentence formation, and further development of conversational skills.
