Tutoring with Mrs. Kennedy is individualized review and practice for struggling students who are working below grade level, are currently failing their course, or have had a longtime struggle with math classes.

There are many, many tutors available for advanced and gifted math students.  

I love working with, and have specialized throughout my career in working with, students who are bright and capable, but have difficulty when it comes to math.


Tutoring topics will be learner driven, and may include integers, functions (linear, exponential, quadratic), solving equations, and graphing. 

Tutoring with Mrs. Kennedy Reviews:

Tutoring with Mrs. Kennedy Overview:
***Learners are expected to send me a screenshot, photo, or the document itself of their learning topic/questions at least by the day before the tutoring session.  If I haven't received communication at the 24 hour mark, I will plan a session using the previous week's topic.***

I'll prepare the tutoring session based on this information.

Tutoring is very student driven.  The learner should be ready to ask questions and have homework, notes, or other materials that have been used in class ready to reference if needed. 

My approach is to help learners develop self-questioning techniques so that going forward, the student has an internal dialogue to help solve the problems.
