This is an individual tutoring session for elementary students in phonics and reading. If your child needs homework help or assistance with reading skills I am here to help! Prior to meeting I will need to know what skills you would like me to focus on with your child. We can work on any elementary reading skills such as word solving, comprehension, or fluency. I will work on finding the strategies that work best for him/her to strengthen skills. Students should be in elementary school to get the most out of this session. Here are some ideas for tutoring sessions: -letter sounds -letter blends -long vowels -story elements -summarizing -main idea -reading test prep After enrolling please send me the following about your child: -What are their strengths in reading? -What do they need to work on? If possible, any reading levels will be helpful. I am able to give screener if necessary! All materials will be provided by me as we work through tutoring.

We will be using third party tools during class they will be used in the following ways:
-Nearpod/Peardeck will be used for students to interact real time with my presentation and complete work independently. May not be used in every session
-Epic will be used when reading texts via screen share
-Seesaw will be used as a way for students to work on virtual activities such as word sorts or word tiles
-YouTube may be used during tutoring via screen share in order to display learning videos
-learning a-z for decodables and leveled readers

We will be using learning an-z and Epic Books for reading practice. We may also use Nearpod or Peardeck for practice with words so that students can complete activities in real time. Seesaw may also be used for practice. I also share my screen for practice with word sorts in google classroom.
