Here, young artists have the exciting opportunity to choose their very own favorite theme to draw and color. From realistic creatures to landscapes or even their favorite characters, the possibilities are endless!

Could you please let me know what your child's favorite topic is? 

Here are some cool ideas: Learn how to draw and paint -

Flowers: Sunflower, Tulip, Cherry blossom, Daises etc.
Fruits: Mango, Banana, Pineapple etc.
Galaxies
Dragons
Favorite characters: Harry Potter, Spiderman
Plants, animals, and scenes from nature.
Superheroes
Iconic landmarks from around the world
Winter snow, spring flowers, summer sun, or autumn leaves.
Underwater amazing creatures
Dinosaurs
Eyes, nose, hands etc. anatomy art 

If kids have a specific preference in mind that are out of the list, I will be happy to teach them as well.

If you do not mention about the choice, I will teach an animal/flower painting.

They will learn Watercolor Basics: Techniques and Fundamentals in different sessions. 

Wet-on-dry technique
Wet-on-wet technique (blooming)
Dry brushing technique
Glazing and layering technique
Salt technique
Wash technique
Splatter techniques
Sponge techniques

Kids will also learn:
 
Detailing and precision work in watercolor
Different brush strokes and their effects
Understanding color theory and creating a color wheel.
Layering and transparency

I have structured the duration to be 55 minutes per session. However, the completion of an artwork can vary based on the complexity of the subject and the individual pace of each student. Some painting may require more attention to detail, which might extend beyond a single session. 

For high quality work kids should use watercolor paper/mixed media paper

Other materials:
watercolor, palette, Brushes (liner,  medium, large), water cup, paper towel, Sharpie (black)/ marker, tape (optional)
