課堂經歷
I have taught Grades 2-6 for the past 27 years, have been a reading and math middle school interventionist. I have earned Masters Degrees in both Elementary Education (K-6) and Reading Education (K-12). Therefore, I am able to customize instruction based on student needs. I am available to work on classwork/homework students are having difficulty with, help students with assignment/test corrections, or I am able to provide the material for the session. If your student needs enrichment in reading, I am able to provide that too, having taught gifted students in Grades 4 and 6. Prior to the session, I will communicate with parents and find out the goals they have for their child for each session. Some examples of reading topics we can cover in a tutoring section: * Reading comprehension for both fiction and nonfiction * Reading fluency * Decoding words and phonics * Poetry * Figurative Language * Extending the reading curriculum through enrichment lessons
