中學1:1數學輔導

This personalized 1:1 math tutoring service offers individualized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs, helping them build confidence and improve their math skills. I bring years of experience working with students in middle school, and those with special needs and specific learning disabilities, providing a supportive and adaptable learning environment. Specifically, I have taught 6th Grade Mathematics, 7th grade Mathematics, 7th Grade Advanced Mathematics, 8th Grade Mathematics (supported and on-level classes), and Pre-Algebra at the 8th grade level. Students will work with me to target their individual area of struggle, then align those skills to the standard-mastery for their target grade level, and complete specific skills to reach that target. For example, a student in 6th grade who struggles with the concept of fractions and ratios will receive individual lessons to strengthen their understanding through the use of fraction circles or manipulatives to engage their understanding of what ratios with different denominators are and how to be able to work with them together in mathematical problem solving. Through interactive lessons and customized strategies, students will tackle math challenges and achieve their academic goals.
