In this class, we will talk about what we can do at a zoo. I will concentrate on the types of animals that can be seen at a zoo. I will ask the learner if they have been to a zoo. We will use the simple past tense, and the past perfect if the learner is ready to use this tense. I will ask the student what animals they saw at the zoo. I will ask the learner to describe the animals. We will use adjectives such as big, cute or scary. I will ask the learner which animals they liked or disliked and why. I will ask the learner if they know the names for baby animals such as cub for a bear. The learner can bring a stuffed toy to the lesson and talk about it. I will bring my tiger toy to the lesson and talk about him. I teach in a relaxed way, and the lesson will be a conversation between the learner and I. I will invite the learner to ask me questions, too, so that they learn how to form questions in full sentences.
