Beginner - Intermediate 等級
What will be taught? In 1:1 tutoring sessions, I will work with your child to increase their reading skills, spelling skills, phonics skills, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. Students receive individualized instruction based on my assessment and their needs. What topics will be covered? We will practice decoding and fluently reading stories and books. We will work on letters and their sounds as well as different phonics rules to help decode unfamiliar words. We will practice...
Students will improve their reading and spelling schools. Students will learn to love reading.
Teacher expertise: I am a current 1st grade teacher. I have experience in grades K-5 and special education. I am a certified reading specialist with a Master's in Literacy. I am Orton-Gillingham trained.
As a certified special education teacher, this class can support all learning needs. I teach multi-sensory based instruction and utilize a lot of games and breaks.
Students do not need to have any prerequisite experience.
Students will need a pencil and a lined notebook.
