In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to practice geometry skills and concepts typically taught in eighth grade. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes that involve geometry to work on together. Concepts and skills can include any of the following: •Lines and Angles •Transversals of Parallel Lines •Classifying Polygons •Interior Angles in Triangles, Quadrilaterals, and Polygons •Exterior Angles of Polygons •Transformations •Similarity and Dilations •Pythagorean Theorem •Perimeter and Area of Polygons •Surface Area and Volume of 3D Figures Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years.
