**New to Outschool? Use our coupon for a $20 discount! ARILearnin20 ** This class is a creative adventure in exploring both the games we love and what we love about them. We will explore a few game templates, enhancements and learn some of the terminology that goes along with game design. Our goal is to create a simple board game that we can play with tokens and dice. Every week I will post a list of what is needed before each class. What follows is our planned outline for learners...

- *This class applies to the curricular requirements for Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies 6 B.C. Grade 5-12. *This course directly relates to B.C. Curricular Competencies for ELA Grades 4-12 under Comprehend and connect (reading, listening, viewing)
🎲Instructor: Ms. Yvonne, BMus. McGill University. Hi! I'm a Metis artist, musician and micro-farmer. My experiences range from 10 years with IBM as a field tech to professional musician. I am a songwriter and a homeschooling mum of two kids and my current obsession is board game design. I believe that child-led project based learning is the key to engagement. As an ND learner myself and a parent of an ND child, I believe connection and relationship are the first step in education. PBL or Project Based Learning allows us to incorporate all sorts of learning in one fun bundle of exploration.

頻率: 3-6 throughout the class回饋: As needed細節: Learners will be expected to work on their projects outside of class time. The amount of time will really depend on the learner and the project they have planned.
A list of supplies needed will be posted before the first class every week in the classroom.
