Welcome to Mrs. D's Art Room where it is always a good day when you are learning something new. In this one-time class, young artists will use step-by-step instructions to paint an awesome watercolor painting scarlet macaw and will learn some fun facts about it. I will share a few advanced watercolor techniques such as water wash, wet-in-wet, layering, and lifting color. We will use flat and round watercolor brushes while painting. I will use a dual-screen so that kids can see me drawing...

Material List: 1. Watercolor paper/multimedia drawing paper (whatever size you desire) 2. Eraser 3. Ruler 4. Color mixing palate 5. Brushes-round and flat 6. Watercolors - Vermillion Red, Lemon Yellow, Cobalt Blue/Sky Blue, Sap Green, Burnt Sienna, and Black. 7. Small water cup for cleaning paintbrushes 8. Paper towels
