Join our dynamic one-on-one ACT English Prep class designed specifically for students who want to excel on the exam! In our sessions, we delve into effective strategies and essential content that ensure your success. The ACT English section focuses on grammar and rhetoric, and the great news is that it addresses only the straightforward rules. This means that with clear instruction and dedicated practice, you will not only enhance your performance on the test but also deepen your overall understanding of English.

Our first session sets the foundation with a blend of engaging lectures and practical exercises. You’ll be introduced to all the key content and strategies necessary for the exam while actively practicing new skills. To get started, please download the provided notebook, which will be invaluable for participating, taking notes, and marking up content as we progress. Before our next session, you will complete one practice test to reinforce your learning.

In the second session, we will focus on test corrections for the homework you completed. We’ll address any challenges you faced and practice those concepts to ensure mastery. Following the corrections, you’ll tackle another practice test, but this time, you’ll work one passage at a time under timed conditions, allowing for corrections and reviews at the end of each passage. You will again have a practice test to complete at home, this time focusing on one passage at a time.

Session three will continue with test corrections from your homework, where we’ll once again dive into any areas needing improvement. After completing these corrections, you’ll begin a new practice test, this time completing two passages at a time while using a timer. We’ll dedicate time for corrections and reviews after each pair of passages. You’ll also complete another practice test for homework, applying the same timed strategy with two passages.

In our final session, we’ll start with corrections on your latest homework. We’ll focus on areas of difficulty, ensuring you feel confident moving forward. After our review, you’ll take on an entire practice test under timed conditions, followed by comprehensive test corrections. By the end of the course, you’ll be well-prepared and confident in your abilities to excel in the ACT English section!
