Program Description:
-Learners will have an individual session with a coding expert to learn the fundamentals of Java
- This program is offered throughout the year

What You Will Learn:
Lesson 1: First Java program
• Learning and understanding Java syntax
• Learning and understanding Data types – numbers, Boolean, characters, double
• Creating an interactive java code for a text editor

Lesson 2: Variables and input in Java
• Learning to declare variables (Java for kids 85/495)
• Learning to Assign variables (Java for kids 87)
• Learning to make the computer ask for input for each data type in Java

Lesson 3: Output in Java
• Learning and understanding Java output and its formats for each data type
• Learn with project/application

Lesson 4: Dealing with multiple variables
• Learning to declare and assign variables together
• Learning to Type casting
• Learning to perform Arithmetic operations
• Learn with project/application

Lesson 5: Strings in Java
• Learning and understanding string?
• Learning and understanding methods applicable on strings
• Learn with project/application

Lesson 6: Boolean in Java
• Understanding and learning Boolean in Java
• Learn with project/application

Lesson 7: Java Math
• Learning and understanding Math class to perform operations on the number

Lesson 8: Making choices with Conditions
• Learning if and else: use of if, if-else, if-elseif-else, and nested if-else

-Please book a time allocated by the teacher. If you would like to meet at a different day or time, please contact us.

-This is an individual, one-on-one class. 
-Learners meet once a week.
-This is a subscription-based class, so you will be charged every week to save your seat for the following week.
