Hola!!! Mi llamo es Senorita Juliann! Bienviendos a clase por juegas y divertido! Hello! My name is Ms. Juliann! Welcome to class for games and fun! Class Content: During our class learners will be playing games and having conversations with new vocabulary words to learn Spanish. We will use repetition and practice to recognize letters and vocabulary words in a variety of different topics. The themes will be words that they will be more likely to use in conversation and daily life. Why this Class: Spanish is becoming a world language and it's definitely easier for kids to learn at a younger age. Class Material: Class Schedule: 10 min: introduction of words through slides 5 min: using words in context 15 min: game of the week Class dynamics may adjust the schedule slightly Each week learners will focus on one theme. The games will change each time we meet as well as the specific words that used. This class will be ongoing so learners can join for one week or come back week after week to learn new Spanish words. Since this class is a one to one class, the list below is a suggestion of progression but can be adjusted on your learners needs. If you learners would like to focus on a different topic please reach out. I'm happy to go with another topic/theme/etc. Session 1: Placement Assessment Foundations of Spanish: Week 1: Alphabet Week 2: Numbers Week 3: Colors and Seasons Week 4: Days of the Week and Months of the Year Vocabulary Week 1 animals/pets Week 2 school words Week 3 around the town Week 4 to the store Week 5 outside fun Week 6 to the beach, park, etc Week 7 my family Week 8 doctor/dentist/etc Week 9 at the restaurant Week 10 jobs Week 11 transportation Week 12 clothing Simple Sentences/Phrases Week 1 Verbs-I go, I need,I want, question words etc Week 2 basic commands, question words (yes, no, directions, etc) Week 3 animals/pets Week 4 school Week 5 around town Week 6 to the store Week 7 outside fun Week 8 to the beach, park, etc Week 9 my family Week 10 doctor, dentist, etc Week 11 at the restaurant Week 12 jobs Week 13 transportation

Some games may be online such as kahoot. Please make sure your learner knows how to access kahoot or you are nearby to help.
